Passion and creativity are as important as the air we breathe." Douglas Parks, owner and creator of R Tistic Salon and Education, embodies this very notion. With great humility and an understanding of the importance of expression, Douglas inpires the world around him, and in turn, he is continually inspired. "Life itself inspires me." Upon graduating from the acclaimed Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles, Douglas traveled the world providing industry leading education within the Sassoon academy network.

His international experience includes working and instructing at prestigiuos salons and schools around the world. His time in Sweden, London, Boston, New York, Beverly Hills, and Scottsdale, has inspired and spread his love for the art of hair/ After returning to the states he continued to educate; implementing his ideas for the Paul Mitchell curriculum in Costa Mesa. His enduring passion to educate led him to the creation of R Tistic Salon and Education. As the leader of R Tistic, Douglas instills the notion that hard work and passion for your craft is essential. "Follow through, never give up and always believe."

 

Helene Larsson Parks

Swedish born stylist, Helene Larsson Parks, has established herself as a top stylist and she is well known within the industry as a brilliant instructor. Throughout her career, Helene has been an educator at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica and a top stylist at the Vidal Sassoon Salon in Beverly Hills. She has also worked as a stylist at Bjorn Axen Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, and as an educator for Matrix Global Academy and Schwarzkopf. With years of constant education, Helene has perfected her craft into an art form and offers impeccable work and professionalism to each of her clients.

 

Bradley Rosen

"I am truly fascinated and inspired by the chaotic yet beautiful time we live in." At the young age of seventeen Bradley was instinctively drawn towards hairdressing. Although it was a field he had not yet considered, it was the inspiration and mentoring of Douglas Parks that helped him discover not only the true beauty of hair, but also a piece of himself. "Always observing the highest level of quality and attention to detail was a philosophy introduced to me that really excited me. It was the door that opened my eyes to an art form." With great desire to create beauty controlled by discipline and precision, there is no limit to what this fresh young talent can achieve in this high paced industry. His constant yearning to progress, and his exceptional eye for beauty, will undoubtedly make Bradley a force in the world of hair. "At its best, hair appeals to the universal sense of individuality. Jennifer Morris

Already named "brightest star to watch for" by American Salon, Jennifer's work has been featured in commercials and print worldwide. Jennifer has literally grown up and evolved with the industry having started in the business working as a hair model at the young age of thirteen and later earning her Cosmetology license by the age of eighteen. She began traveling as a color specialist with Vidal Sassoon and worked in their locations worldwide teaching at the Sassoon Academies in London and Los Angeles before becoming the youngest head of the color department in their New York salon. More recently, she has headed campaigns, collections, and PR related events throughout the U.S, Europe, and Asia. Her impressive repertoire includes helping to develop and implement new staff training programs, being featured on the make-over shows "What Not To Wear" and "Queer Eye" and consulting on international product lines for Wella and Proctor and Gamble. With sharp eyes and ears for the client, Jennifer listens to and works with her individual clientele to find their unique style. Jennifer's passion lies in the creation of new, exciting colors and innovative techniques.
